SHIELD - Rated to 1800 ° F continous. High Temperature
Exhaust Shield. Triple-layered Exhaust Shield, Designed to
reduce radiant heat damage from the exhaust system and withstand
up to 1800° F continuous.
The latest
"thermal innovation" stops radiant heat at the source.
This revolutionary new product allows you to isolate heat
at the source by reducing radiant heat damage to other vehicle
components. Next generation technology allows it to be placed
directly on teh exhaust system. Comprise of these layers,
the first is a stamped half pipe of 304 stainless steel, the
second is 1/8" thick piece of ceramic insulation, the
third a stainless steel mesh to hold the pad in place. This
HP SHIELD is so simple it literally installs in seconds! Just
wrap the shield around the exhaust pipe and hold in place
with Thermal-Tie, hose clamps or wire.
STARTER
SHIELD - Rated to 1100 ° F continous. High Temperature
Protective Covers. Improves performance and prevents starter
failure caused by overheating. Hook and loop fasteners make
for easy installation on a variety of starters.
Do not
let the heat stop from from starting! Prolong your starters
life and improve its performance. Our starter shield helps
prevent starter failure caused by overheating. Quality construction
and design allows for easy installation. Simply wrap the cover
around the starter and fasten with the hook and loop fasteners.
Starter removal is not necessary in most cases. Two different
sizes are available, which make trimming unnecessary. Their
heavy-duty cover is double insulated to offer a greater reduction
in radiant heat transfer. Their standard shields use aluminized
cloth construction to reflect radiant heat away. Part number
501010 is designed specifically for small high torque starters.

CIS
- COOL INTAKE SHIELD - - Rated to 1100 ° F continous.
High Temperature Reflective Pad. Optimizes performance and
increase horsepower with lower intake temperatures created
by insulating air intake systems components.
Increase
your horsepower by lowering intake temperatures. Power is
created from the dense air furl mixture ( created by cooler
intake temperature ) allowing the mixture to be burned more
efficiently. Optimize the performance from that aftermarket
air intake kit or supercharger by shielding it from radiant
heat. CIS has an adjustable inside diameter from 3" to
4" so it will fit most intake tubes. Manufactured with
a hook and look seam for easy access and installation. CIS
will withstand 1100° F continuous radiant and 500°
F of direct heat. Sleeve can be cut easily for custom applications
and is sold with foil tape (1"W x 3'L) to complete the
installation.
THERMAL-TIES
- Stainless Steel Fasteners. Use to fasten insulation, wire
loom and lines in any application where high-strength fastener
is needed.
Simply
the best way to fasten any type of insulation, wire loom,
lines, etc. Use in any applications where high strength is
needed. Easy to use, no bands or buckles required! Simply
pull the tail end through the head and tighten, just like
plastic wire ties. There are no sharp edges, and these ties
are easy to handle. The low profile make them ideal for any
tight fit application. Three different lengths to suit your
needs; 7.9" for long diameters up to 2"; 14"
long for diameters up to 4"; and 33" long for diameters
up to 10". 304 stainless steel construction, 3/16"
width, and a thickness of .010".
