AWR (Anthony
Woodford Racing) offers incomparable custom prototyping, race

Tony
Woodford learned his craft from an old-world master... from
restoring vintage sports cars and building one-off aluminum
prototypes, to forming compound curves, molding fiberglass
and carbon, and redesigning vintage racers to compete against
technologically advanced models, he developed technical expertise
and meticulous fabrication skills that would be sought after
by premiere auto racing operations and enthusiasts.

In 1986
Tony focused on the auto-racing field, joining various SCCA
Racing Teams, including Overton Autosport an IMSA GTU
team. From 1989 to 1993, he worked with Nissan Performance
Technology, which fielded a successful GTP Team with drivers
such as Chip Robinson. This was followed by heavy involvement
with Formula Atlantic Professional teams.
Tony
founded AWR in 1995, and quickly developed a relationship
with MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development, a division of Mazda
North American Operations, developing various parts for the
grassroots racing industry. He then designed and prototyped
a rotary powered Formula Atlantic race car, creating a powerful
and efficient rotary solution to compete with Toyota power
plants. There are now several Rotary-Powered Atlantics
campaigning in the Sports Car Club of America.

AWR is
now concentrating growth on advanced suspension design and
exhaust system technology. Under Tonys watchful eye,
and uncompromising standards, the Formula Atlantic project
will be pushed to the next level. Meanwhile, grass roots developments
continue to evolve with products for Touring and GT racing
teams, and Formula One projects are expanding as well. AWR
entered the Speed World Challenge Series with a 2001 Mazda
Protege, driven by Charles Espenlaub a couple years ago, and
has since built another beautiful example of a Touring Car
for Gary Gist.
COMPETITION
RING & PINION - DEBURRED AND COATED:
Competition 4.8 ring and pinion for Miata (0662-27-950A) goes
one step further and is deburred and specially coated to improve
strength and reliability. Reduces friction and operating temperature.
Requires doubling of shims (over stock setup) to fit in stock
case.
COIL
OVER HARDWARE KIT:
Complete coil over hardware kit for use with Bilstein Shocks.
Includes (4) threaded sleeves, (4) lower spring perches, (4)
aluminum upper spring centering units, (4)rubber top spring
pads, (4) shock adapters. Includes installation instructions.
Used for Spec Miata class.
REINFORCED
STABILIZER BAR BRACKETS - 90-97:
In racing and autocross use, especially when using larger
sway bars and driving aggressively, the stock sway bar brackets
can flex to the point of breaking. These reinforced brackets
replace the stock ones to eliminate this problem. Spot welds
attaching the stock mounts to frame must be drilled out.
REINFORCED
STABILIZER BAR BRACKETS - 90-97:
Open ended reinforced sway bar brackets allow the option of
putting power steering hoses through the bracket. In racing
and autocross use, especially when using larger sway bars
and driving aggressively, the stock sway bar brackets can
flex to the point of breaking. These reinforced brackets replace
the stock ones to eliminate this problem. Spot welds attaching
the stock mounts to frame must be drilled out.
REINFORCED

In racing and autocross use, especially when using larger
sway bars and driving aggressively, the stock sway bar brackets
can flex to the point of breaking. These reinforced brackets
replace the stock ones to eliminate this problem. Spot welds
attaching the stock mounts to frame must be drilled out. These
brackets are gold cadmium plated. 0000-04-5101-CD

REINFORCED
FRONT SWAY BAR BRACKETS - 99-2003:
1999-2003 Mazda Miata front sway bar bracket. A slight modification
to their existing 5101 1990-97 front sway bar bracket to give
a little more radiator bracket clearance on the newer cars.
A great part, just like the original AWR Sway Bar Bracket
Kit.
TOW
HOOKS:
AWR now makes tow hooks which are available for the 1990-2005
Miata, as required by new SCCA rules which require 2"
holes. Set includes one front and one rear tow hook. NOT RECOMMENDED
FOR USE AS A TIE DOWN. Part Number 0000-04-5998. These are
only available directly through MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development
ADJUSTABLE
FRONT SWAY BAR END LINKS:
1990-97 Mazda Miata adjustable rear sway bar end links. Nickel
finish. Replace those factory weak links and enjoy your ride
more!
