Cross-drilling improves initial bite. Slotting lets gasses that build up under hard braking escape. The patterns for each type of machining are optimized for each application. Employing both methods on the same disc requires compromise that offsets any performance gains.
That's right. In their attempt to look good, guys with combo rotors may have actually decreased their braking performance. We think that's a bad idea.

CNC Billet Aluminum Mounting Hats with KVR Velocity Channels - machined into the hat to direct air to the outboard face of disc, Velocity Channels equalize inboard and outboard temperatures, increase the strength of the flange and reduce mass. Black, Red, Blue, Gold and Silver (not shown) plating available.
Thermal Cycling Indicators - Thermal paint is applied to the rotor and serves as a visual gauge. Two paints are applied: Green changes at 430 degrees Centigrade - to show that the disc is absorbing heat. Red changes at 610 degrees - telling engineers that the system requires more cooling, or telling a driver to back off to let the brakes cool.

KVR Performance CNC Machined 1pc Discs: By using superior materials and state of the art manufacturing methods, one-piece discs from KVR Performance provide a dramatic decrease in stopping distance. All Discs are CNC Machined for Maximum Precision, and are designed for direct, bolt-in replacement of your vehicle's Original Equipment permitting easy installation!

All KVR 1pc Discs are available with your choice of surface treatment: Plain, Cross-Drilled or Slotted. Machine patterns of discs vary due to the design of disc and the application - there is not one pattern that works better than another.
Plain: Retains the appearance of the OE Factory Disc while enhancing performance.

Cross-Drilled: KVR uses a specially designed end mill to bore the holes into the rotors. This process is more accurate than drilling, and has proven to be the best way for limiting stress relief. Cross-Drilled rotors run cooler, reducing brake fade and warpage while increasing rotor life. You'll enjoy shorter stopping distances, especially in wet weather, whit a set of Cross-Drilled.

Slotted: All slots on KVR one-piece discs are CNC machined for maximum precision. The entire slot is located within the disc annalus (braking surface) to reduce the chance of thermal shock and eliminate stress points. Slots channel gasses produced under hard braking by your friction materials away from the braking surface for enhanced initial bite, giving you a competitive edge on the track or the street with their tough, performance look.

Optional Cadmium Plating: You can further enhance your brake disc upgrade by choosing a Custom Cadmium Plated finish, in your choice of Silver, Gold or Black. Protect your investment from rust and add a healthy dose of style to your ride at the same time!

GOODRICH STAINLESS STEEL BRAKE LINES
Increased performance and enhanced appearance are yours with a set of Stainless Steel Brake or Clutch Lines from Bishop. Eliminate those rubber lines that can balloon under extreme conditions.

Driver confidence is enhanced, with better pedal feel and modulation. The enhanced appearance is largely maintenance-free, thanks to a clear plastic tubing over the Stainless Steel Line that prevents grime & brake dust from accumulating.

All lines are made to KVR Performance specifications by Goodridge Inc., and pass rigorous quality control & pressure tests before shipment. Direct bolt-on replacement for O.E.M. lines means installation is a breeze.
