THE
NEW VORTECH Si-TRIM SUPERCHARGER IS THE NEW INDUSTRY STANDARD!
The
Si-Trim and SCi-Trim are now the standard superchargers included
in most Vortech street-legal supercharging systems. Both new
superchargers are equipped with the high-performance Si-Trim
compressor, allowing for greater airflow, boost pressure and
power gain potential.
The product
of Vortech's latest research and development, the Si-Trim
is capable of performing at a peak efficiency of 78% - a marked
improvement over the S-Trim's class-leading 72%. Because a
more efficient supercharger takes less power away from an
engine and generates less heat, the overall horsepower gain
on any vehicle will be greater with an Si-Trim vs the S-Trim.
One of
the key objectives in developing the Si-Trim was extending
the performance range of the supercharger. Due to its increased
efficiency at higher performance levels, the Si-Trim can support
applications which demand more airflow and pressure than what
was considered practical with the S-Trim - particularly vehicles
with modified engines. Customers with these more demanding
applications will experience a more drastic improvement in
performance.

JULY 27 2007: Vortech Engineering, LLC has announced its 3-year/36,000
mile powertrain limited warranty. This will be available as
an option with complete, fully calibrated systems sold and
installed in the US and Canada by a select group of Vortech
installers.
Vortech
has been credited with a number of innovations in the field
of centrifugal supercharging. Among these achievements include
being the first to utilize a supercharger development test
cell designed and operated in accordance with SAE Standard
J-1723. We also demonstrated the first successful use of gears
in a centrifugal supercharger. In addition, Vortech initiated
the use of an air bypass valve in systems and air/oil mist
system for cooling.
Vortech
has been awarded six US patents and has received three of
the prestigious Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA)
awards for Best Engineered New Product. No other centrifugal
manufacturer has ever received one of these coveted awards.
These achievements were not so much a flash of brilliance
as the culmination of an intensive development process.
