18 2008: Going, Going Gone!
Another
happy Monster adoption took place over the weekend in sunny
Gibsons BC. The latest white Monster from Bishop Sales is
going to a new happy home in the sunshine coast of BC.
We
will be listing our next Monster for adoption later or early
next week!

powered coated Trick Flow R Intake manifold with matching
black powered coated Trickflow Valve Covers, Monster Aluminum
Radiator, 1 5/8 Thermal Coated Shortly Headers with stainless
steel dual exhaust with cross over, K&N High Flow Air
filter, Painless Wiring Harness, new water pump, new oil
pump, new alternator, new starter, power steering, completely
serviced and ready for the street for dialing driving. Approx

SERVICED:
Brakes (pads and fluid), Engine (engine oil, sensors, spark

Monster conversions not a part goes untouched or inspected
by us. When you are stuffing all that power into an innocent
little Miata, you have got to make sure everything is right
before it hits the streets.
TRANSMISSION: Tremec T-5 5-Speed Transmission (inspected
and serviced) with new Ford Racing Clutch, new clutch cylinder
and stainless braided clutch line
REAR END: Ford Thunderbird 7.5" Rear End (inspected
and serviced), Ford Racing Limited Slip, 3:27 Gears.
WHEELS & TIRES: American Racing Shelby Razors
finished in silver with polished lip 16" x 7".
Tires are Avon Tech M500 with 215/50/R16 front and 245/16/16
rear.
MONSTER CONVERSION: included modified K-member, modified
oil pan, aluminum radiator, clutch master cylinder, clutch
hose with fittings, clutch master cylinder adapter, custom
front & rear springs, manual transmission hanger, transmission
mount, engine block mounts, differential hanger, firewall
plates, radiator hanger with mounts, shifter adapter, sway
bar mounts, differential torque mount plate, custom drive
shaft, throttle cable ball receiver, custom coolant filler
neck, modified hubs, custom axles with spacers, US washer
bottle, cooling fans with hardware, clutch slave bracket,
1 5/8 inch thermal coated headers and installation manual.
BOSS FROG DOUBLE HOOP ROLL BAR: The Boss Frog Maxx
combines the best of both worlds - the height and strength
of a real SCCA compliant rollbar, with the maximum recline
angle of non-compliant style bars. Now you can truly recline
the seat all the way back, and still have the rollbar pass
tech inspection at the track! In fact, the additional recline
room not only makes it more comfortable for taller people
to drive, but also lowers the overall height of your helmet
due to the additional recline angle.
The
Boss Frog Double Maxx is made of the highest quality 1-3/4"
x 1/8" wall DOM tubing, with heavy 7 gauge laser cut
flat parts. Each rollbar is manufactured in a precision
welding fixture to assure the absolute best fit in your
car. We utilize TIG welding for all tubing joints, to provide
a higher strength but yet smaller weld joint, and the highest
quality finished appearance.
VEHICLE
CONDITION: We start with a good Miata for all our conversions
and this one was excellent. Good black top and back plastic
back window (not original), interior shows it mileage wear
but is clean and undamaged. The exterior has a few minor
door dings but other wise shows to be good. While doing
the conversion we found not structural damage, rust or "surprises"
on it's belly. This is a good clean Miata.
EMISSIONS:
There are issues in some state and provinces with newer
cars with older power trains. In some areas, 1995 and newer
cars with OBD2 computers are tested through the dyno port
during the emission check or test. When you install the
5.0L engine pre-1995 power train you remove the 96 and newer
computer. You need to check with your local state or provincial
laws before bidding. If full emission cats and smog pump
are required, we can install for them for an additional
$750.00.
Again, please check with your local authorities to make
sure that this converted vehicle will be legal emission
wise in your territory before you bid
THE MONSTER MIATA KIT CONTENTS
We
enjoy our Monsters and this one has been great driving her
for the last few months of good weather with no issues,
this car is in fact a great Monster. It truly can be called
an ultra performance daily driver. That is the only way
we would want it and it is the purpose of a Monster conversion.
You get the performance of a real muscle car but the effortless
service and maintenance of the Miata or Mustang.
