18 2008: Going, Going Gone!
Another
happy Monster adoption took place over the weekend in sunny
Gibsons BC. The latest white Monster from Bishop Sales is
going to a new happy home in the sunshine coast of BC.
We
will be listing our next Monster for adoption later or early
next week!

BOSS FROG DOUBLE HOOP ROLL BAR: The Boss Frog Maxx
combines the best of both worlds - the height and strength
of a real SCCA compliant rollbar, with the maximum recline
angle of non-compliant style bars. Now you can truly recline
the seat all the way back, and still have the rollbar pass
tech inspection at the track! In fact, the additional recline
room not only makes it more comfortable for taller people
to drive, but also lowers the overall height of your helmet
due to the additional recline angle.
The
Boss Frog Double Maxx is made of the highest quality 1-3/4"
x 1/8" wall DOM tubing, with heavy 7 gauge laser cut
flat parts. Each rollbar is manufactured in a precision
welding fixture to assure the absolute best fit in your
car. We utilize TIG welding for all tubing joints, to provide
a higher strength but yet smaller weld joint, and the highest
quality finished appearance.
VEHICLE
CONDITION: We start with a good Miata for all our conversions
and this one was excellent. Good black top and back plastic
back window (not original), interior shows it mileage wear
but is clean and undamaged. The exterior has a few minor
door dings but other wise shows to be good. While doing
the conversion we found not structural damage, rust or "surprises"
on it's belly. This is a good clean Miata.
EMISSIONS:
There are issues in some state and provinces with newer
cars with older power trains. In some areas, 1995 and newer
cars with OBD2 computers are tested through the dyno port
during the emission check or test. When you install the
5.0L engine pre-1995 power train you remove the 96 and newer
computer. You need to check with your local state or provincial
laws before bidding. If full emission cats and smog pump
are required, we can install for them for an additional
$750.00.

sure that this converted vehicle will be legal emission
wise in your territory before you bid
