3RD GENERATION: MX-5 FENDER FLAIRS
New from AWR Racing, 3rd Gen MX-5s 2006-2008 will initially retail for $495.00 plus freight and tax from Bishop Sales. It includes rivets and instructions, but the installation does require modification to the front bumper, front fender, and rear fender. The rear fender will require cutting and welding as shown on the earlier kit on our support page. Flares are gel coated fiberglass and are designed to be installed with rivets but can be fully bonded if desired. See more about these awesome fender flairs!
2ND GENERATION WIDE BODY KIT
Available now is a wide body kit for the 2nd generation Miata (1999-2005)
The rear is an add on flare, similar to the previous kits, but the front
is an entirely new fender. Kit will include:2 front fenders - complete,2
rear partial fenders, 2 front bumper extensions, 2 rear bumper extensions,
bonding kit, full instruction sheet.
The best part is that this kit is thick enough for daily use. Run big
rubber or simply give your car the stance to back up an FM II or
Supercharger powerplant. Kits are available immediately from Bishop
Sales. Also available is another kit for use with Racing Beat style
bumpers, and for 2nd Generation Mazda Miatas.
1ST GENERATION WIDE BODY KIT
Here is one monster of a body kit for the 1st generation Miata body kit. The kit consists of four flares that are designed to be bonded into the stock fenders and 4 flare extensions that bond to the original or aftermarket bumpers. This is the only way to install flares on the rear as the rear fenders cannot be removed. This also keeps the kit legal for use in SM2. Small extensions are included for the bumper at each corner. A bolt-on front fender set is also available although it still requires bonding for the rear and the bumpers.
A version of the 1990 to 1997 Miata Wide Body Kit is available for use
with Racing Beat front and rear style bumpers.
The bumper extensions are intended for use on stock bumpers, but
aftermarket bumpers that are similar to the stock ones will also work. The
extensions start from approximately halfway through the side marker
lights.
