BISHOP SPONSORED RACERS PLACE SECOND TWICE, WITH STEERING BY ARMSTRONG
MISSION BC (AUGUST 20 2006) Bishop USA's Steve "Fast Fretty" Fretenburg and partner Derrick Moennick took their Pontiac Grand Prix to two second place class finishes at Mission BC's Rivers Edge Race track this weekend. The tube frame, Chevy-powered Grand Prix was plagued with steering issues all weekend. Qualifying went well until the steering gremlin reared its ugly head, first with a pump problem and again later when the steering rack failed. Despite the setbacks, Fretenburg finished with a strong second in ICSCC group SPO competition, while Moennick followed suit with a second in the exciting GT1 event. Bishop congratulates the pair, and replacement parts are on order and will be installed well in advance of the next double header at Mission in September. 

Another Bishop Sponsored racer, Danny Nelson from Spokane. WA will also be there, competing in the production class with his track-record setting, Bishop sponsored '94 SVS Racing Mustang. Bishop Canada's Jeff Dann, Skylar Almas and Ian Dann will be joining both teams will all be at the track, so stop by the paddock and say hi!

The V-20 series supercharger brings new technology in the form of a modular, super-robust drive system to meet the abuses found in the high-powered (1,000+ HP) segment of drag racing.
