TOURING
SUSPENSION
The folks at Ford have done a very nice job of producing a
classic four-door American sedan, but to complement all that
extra-supercharged power and speed, we re-tunes the suspension
for better driver control and confidence. The Bishop tuned
Crown Victoria offers world class handling and braking you
can feel without sacrificing comfort or ride quality, improving
your driving pleasure. Bishop carefully lowers the car slightly,
to bring the CG (Centre of Gravity) down a bit and moves the
suspension into the sweetest part of the geometry for improved
handling, feel and high speed stability.
The addition
of sport tuned sway bars improve suspension reaction to driver
input in overall handling and quick transition for better
steering response and driver feel. Urethane sway-bar pivot
bushings improve suspension reaction time to driver input
in overall handling and quick transitions for better grip,
steering response and driver feel.
The alignment is tweaked with a performance alignment specifications
maximizes the handling and potential of the Crown Victoria.

DIABLO
Performance Programming: The DeltaChip is a state-of-the art
high performance tuning chip, which advances the timing, optimizes
the air/fuel ratio and remaps the transmission shift points
(in automatic transmissions). 10-25% increase in horsepower
and torque, depending on application. The DeltaChip’s
additional power makes itself noticeable immediately with
an increase in power that starts in the low RPMs and builds
into a frenzy at the high RPMs. Optional antitheft key switch
that will put the computer into sleep mode (car will not start).
Diablo
Sport Predator now availble for the 2005 and up Crown Victoria.
PERFORMANCE
EXHAUST
Upgraded the exhaust system with premium high-flow mufflers
and ultra performance cats further improving the power and
giving it an authoritative performance sedan exhaust note
with out being offensive. Distinctive dual exhaust tips are
added to punctuate the performance sedan look.
BRAKE
COMPONENTS
KVR Performance has developed a 14.0" 2 piston front
brake upgrade for the 03 and up Mercury Marauder. This kit
is complete with 2 piece rotors either cross-drilled or gas
slotted, not both, carbon fiber brake pads, 2 piston calipers,
brackets, a full set of stainless steel brake lines, 3 bottles
of DOT 5.1 performance brake fluid and all hardware.
This
kit was designed to fit in the factory 18.0" wheel thereby
negating the need to purchase new wheels and tires. To our
knowledge, this is the only kit that accomplishes this. When
this kit is mated with KVR cross-drilled or gas slotted rear
rotors and carbon fiber pads, you have a very effective, affordable
brake upgrade.
Cross
Drilled Rotors: Cross Drilled Discs offer an enhanced initial
bite (more responsive, especially in wet weather) and greater
heat dissipation (reduction in heat induced fade - "brake
fade") as compared to O.E.M. They also will last up to
twice as long as O.E.M. rotors (depending on your braking
style), with 40% Better Cooling, 20% better stopping, improved
wet braking, reduces rotor warpage, less brake fade and longer
life.
Gas Slotted
Rotors: Slotted discs offer cleaning of the friction material
(brake pads), but do little in terms of additional heat dissipation.
Slotted brake discs do not cool better than cross drilled
discs or even standard discs. The face grooves will slice
the brake pad material allowing the pad to bite harder into
the disc, therefore causing an increase in disc temperatures.
This is recommended for competition vehicles to bring pads
and disc temperatures up to optimal operating ranges. (Race
cars warm-up engines, tires and brakes for the best possible
performance).

Performance Brake Discs
WHEELS
The only thing between you (in your car) and the road is the
contact patch of tires. The bigger and better the contact
patch, the better grip, handling and braking. We add premium
performance tires on the OE Crown Victoria wheels to maximize
the foot print on the pavement plus fill the fenders for improved
appearance and crisp, spirited handling.
